Do you have a great photograph, except someone's ex-spouse or boyfriend happens to be in it? Do you have a great picture except for the lamp, tree or pole that looks like it's coming out of Uncle Fred's head?
This type of unfortunate subject matter can be removed by digitally scanning the photo and then using the computer graphic tools to "paint out" the unwanted images. The result is the photo you wish you had been able to take.
As you can see from the samples below, the first image was altered by removing the car, the pole on the left and the shadows on the lawn. The second is the finished version, digitally enhanced and color corrected.
